Large Scale Structure Survey with LMT/Toltec

Image result for large millimeter telescope

The Large Scale Structure Survey probes the relationships between the spatial distribution of star forming galaxies and large scale structure and provides a detailed view of clusters and their substructure via the Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect. Deep IRAC data and good redshifts (spectroscopic and photometric) over the field are necessary to achieve the goals. Fields should also have other key ancillary datasets such as radio imaging, submm imaging (Herschel), X-ray imaging and K-band data as well as key upcoming datasets (Euclid, WFIRST, LSST, PFS, etc.). We also need at least a few fields with known galaxy cluster samples known from SZ, X-ray or galaxy over densities. These criteria led to the list of fields below, prioritized according to the quality of the ancillary datasets.
